ESi Announces Strategic New Hire in Boston

Paul Crawford brings more than 30 years of experience in Public Safety and

Emergency Management

AUGUSTA, Ga., Dec. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- ESi(R), the global leader in crisis information management technology, today announced that Paul Crawford has joined the company as regional manager for the Northeast. Crawford is based in Boston, where he is responsible for ESi operations in Massachusetts and nine other states and U.S. territories -- New York, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Vermont, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Maine, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Prior to joining ESi, Crawford served as the domestic preparedness planner and the manager for the State of Rhode Island Emergency Operations Center (SEOC). In this position, Crawford renovated the SEOC with new technological applications, including WebEOC(R), the first Web-enabled crisis information management system that provides cost-effective, real-time information sharing for ongoing operations or emergency situations. He also created a mobile command center for the agency and managed the distribution of Department of Homeland Security (DHS) grants.

In his new role as regional manager, Crawford will work with the area's national and local emergency management agencies, along with law enforcement, public health organizations and universities, to help integrate the WebEOC suite.
