(EMSI) is pleased to announce a realignment of the company to capitalize on their leadership position in the business segments they serve and to take advantage of the significant growth opportunities in new markets. Effective April 1, 2009, the company will be organized into three operating divisions: Insurance Services, Healthcare Services and Investigative Services.
The Insurance Services Division will integrate all resources serving the insurance industry into a single operating division. The integration of all insurance services will create a more efficient and effective operating platform to serve customers with a greater focus on the delivery of quality, value-added services and ease of doing business with EMSI. EMSI's Chad Gross will serve as chief operating officer and will also maintain the position of chief information officer. Mike Gaines, senior vice president, Insurance Services, will lead EMSI's insurance exam network and related products and services. He will also oversee their new integrated inspection product and expanded Quality and Performance Excellence department.
The Healthcare Services Division will focus exclusively on the growth of EMSI's Workplace Services, Clinical Services and rapid growth in serving health plans and businesses focused on the Medicare markets. This division will focus solely on health-related services, capitalizing on EMSI's significant momentum in new markets and properly aligning the necessary expertise and resources to serve our customers. Susan Gilmartin will be promoted to senior vice president and will lead operations of the Healthcare Services Division. To support the growth of the Division, the sales organization for Healthcare Services will be led by Chuck Groseth, senior vice president.
EMSI's third division is the Investigative Services Division, which Dave Merrill, president, will continue leading. EMSI's Investigative Services Division has been the company's fastest-growing area. Under Dave's leadership, the Division will continue outshining competitors and lead the investigative industry with services that provide a significant return to customers.
