EAP Strengthens Service Offerings Through Deal With Broadspire

ATLANTA, July 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Broadspire, a Crawford Company and leading third party administrator of workers' compensation and liability claims and medical management services, has announced an agreement to deliver Crawford Care Management services on behalf of Horizon Health, a nationally recognized employee assistance provider (EAP).

Crawford Care, which has on-site care managers who provide a wide variety of services to help the elderly and those with special needs live as independently as possible, enhances the already impressive lineup of services provided by Horizon. Those services include telephonic counseling and referral services to help clients' employees balance family issues and professional responsibilities.

"Many employees are unable to give peak performance at work because the needs of elderly or special needs children are competing for their attention," said Annette Sanchez, chief marketing officer for Broadspire. "Our care managers excel at making sure family members get the attention they need. It may be as simple as a ride to the doctor's office, but it gives the employee peace of mind."

As a vital new component to the new service, called Horizon at Home, Crawford Care professionals will help special needs families properly assess their situations and provide detailed plans of action to use as daily guidelines. In addition, care managers will deliver a variety of on-site services to provide elderly or those with special needs with the appropriate assistance to help ease pressure on family members.
