Dwell Media and ASID Team up with Klein Financial to Reinvigorate Downtown LA Lofts
Date:6/6/2013

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) June 06, 2013

Dwell Media and the American Society of Interior Designers have teamed up to reimagine the interior designs of 8 model units in revitalized downtown LA loft properties, 1600 Vine and Met Lofts. The properties are being revitalized by Klein Financial Partnerships, creators of 1,100 hot-spot city dwellings featuring on site retail (Trader Joe’s at 1600 Vine) and chic restaurants (Rivera at Met Lofts) in Los Angeles. Specialists in iconic luxury restoration and redesign, Klein Financial Partnerships properties at 1600 Vine and MetLofts offer high-end apartment dwellers instant access to city culture in the heart of historic Hollywood and metropolitan downtown.

Participating ASID designers include: 1600 Vine - Suzanne Furst, Laura Schwartz-Muller, Cynthia Lambakis, Samantha Williams, Darra Bishop. MetLofts – Rachel Winokur, Laurie Howell, Frank Slesinski, Deborah Davis.

As an arbiter of modern urban living, Dwell highlights how we live today, and our specific (and ever-changing) needs as they evolve with our lives - be it location, physical space, or stage of life. 1600 Vine and Metlofts are a paradigm for the kind of luxury rental lifestyle that can foster a vibrant community of affluent, educated, design-forward people back to a city-centric lifestyle.

The dynamic leadership and development evident in downtown LA over the last several years has transformed these historical parts of the city into safer more beautiful, and desirable places to live. Hollywood and the Metropolitan event area now boast a world-class residential district, host LA’s best sports and entertainment venues, and are connected by highspeed public transportation. The result is downtown luxury living that is culturally rich and easily accessible with neighborhood policing supported by the local Business Improvement Districts.

“As a longtime champion of the reurbanization of our cities, Dwell, and the recently established Dwell Labs group, are thrilled to be working with Klein Financial in the refreshing of the 1600 Vine and Met Lofts properties with our ASID partner designers. The results are dramatic! Few cities have experienced as significant a transformation as the downtown and Hollywood areas of LA,” enthuses Dwell President, Michela O’Connor Abrams. “The commitment to creating communities, and not just dwellings, puts downtown LA and Klein Financial ahead of the urban redevelopment curve.”

An Invitation!
Press and media are invited to join us at a pre-opening press event and luncheon hosted by Dwell Media President Michela O’Connor Abrams. 12 noon, June 14th at 1600 Vine's 6th floor “Heart of Hollywood Terrace.” To secure a press pass for this event please send a direct request to hcoffman(at)dwell(dot)com, or call 415-373-5175.
