Dreambikes Announces Grand Opening Event

DreamBikes, a used bicycle resale store that employs members of the Boys & Girls Club, has announced that the Grand Opening of its Milwaukee location will take place on April 24, 2010. DreamBikes offers quality used bicycles at affordable prices in troubled neighborhoods and provides a place for youth to gain valuable professional experience.

Milwaukee, WI (PRWEB) April 14, 2010 -- DreamBikes of Milwaukee, an IRS 501 (c)3 non-profit used bicycle store that employs members from the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Milwaukee, has announced that its Grand Opening Celebration will take place on Saturday April 24, 2010, from 11am – 3pm at their 2021A North Dr. Martin Luther King Dr. location. The event will feature free bike tune-ups, safety check-ups, a community bike ride, giveaways, and a BMX stunt show.

“We are very excited about coming to Milwaukee!” DreamBikes-Milwaukee Manager, Aaron Rasmussen, said. “The difference we’ll make by providing bicycles to those in need is going to have a huge impact in the community and will give members of the Boys and Girls Club a place to obtain job skills that will improve their futures.”

DreamBikes is a new bicycle shop in the Brewer’s Hill area of Milwaukee that is dedicated to offering quality used bicycles at affordable prices to the community. The shop is unique in that it is staffed by members of the Boys & Girls Club’s Career Launch program. Open six days a week, the shop also offers bicycle repair services and carries a full line of bicycle accessories.

“Through DreamBikes we’ll be able to get bicycles in the hands of people who need them, said Rasmussen. “Whether it is a child looking for their first bike or somebody who is looking for a way to get to work.”
