Drake's Customized Hospitality Solutions with Pro:Idiom

Enable MSOs to Conveniently Deliver HD channels to Hotels, Hospitals

WASHINGTON, April 1 /PRNewswire/ -- R.L. Drake, an American cable TV equipment manufacturer committed to designing and building highly innovative communications solutions for over 65 years, has checked in as distributor of LG Electronics' Pro: Idiom(R) cable transcoders to cable operators in the United States and Canada. Drake will integrate the revolutionary Pro:Idiom system into its Drake Digital Hospitality Solutions, a customized line of products for the lodging and health care industries to offer securely encrypted HD video content for guests.

Drake's experienced sales team will market the Pro:Idiom system as part of the Drake Digital HD Hospitality Solutions to leading MSOs. Drake Digital HD Hospitality Solutions also includes a custom designed, secure, rack-based headend for each property incorporating LG's Pro:Idiom Cable Transcoders, Drake's Edge QAM Modulators, related technical components, and Drake's legendary customer support.
