Dr.Khanna helped Sherri Saum see better with laser vision correction.

(Vocus) May 18, 2010 -- Sherri Saum had wavefront SuperLasik with Los Angeles Lasik surgeon Dr. Rajesh Khanna. Sherri found it was necessary to take care of the poor vision and hassle of glasses and contacts that had impeded her lifestyle over the years. Sherri was impressed with the care and results of the LASIK surgery of her husband Kamar. After meeting Los Angeles Lasik Surgeon Dr. Khanna Sherri decided to end her vision problems and undergo the SuperLasik vision correction procedure.

Wavefront SuperLasik (also called EpiLASIK) is a safer, comfortable and quick advanced eye procedure; correcting a wide range of vision problems. The surgery itself takes less than 5 minutes and is highly effective. It can even be performed if a person has had previous eye surgery or been turned down for Lasik surgery. It is considered safer than LASIK as the flap is very superficial and thin. The surgeon uses an Epi-K epikeratome to create a small epithelial flap in the super layers of Cornea. The Wavefront based excimer laser beam is than applied to correct the error. Because the flap is created with an epikeratome instead of a microkeratome, the surgeon cuts fewer corneal tissue cells than in LASIK. One enormous benefit of Superlasik is that it may allow patients with thin or abnormal corneas, who cannot qualify for LASIK, to improve their vision using permanent laser technology.

EpiLASIK also is helpful in dealing with patients suffering from dry eye syndrome. Sherrie had struggled for years with poor vision, SuperLasik helped to improve her quality of life and the health of her vision. Sherrie and her husband were extremely pleased with the results. Actress and model Sherri Saum is known for her role on the Emmy winning soap opera One Life to live. Currently her carreer is taking an exciting upturn with appearances on a slew of popular shows, including; Law and order, CSI, Heroes and most recently Gossip Girl. Ofcourse, who can forget Bess “In Treatment”. She is currently workin in “Ten feet tall”.
