Dr. Sam Speron Verifies the Growing Trend of Daddy Makeovers
Date:2/19/2013

Park Ridge, IL (PRWEB) February 19, 2013

We are all familiar by now with the cosmetic procedure that is called the “Mommy Makeover”, a popular procedure for mothers who are finished with having children. However, cosmetic procedures are not only limited to mothers and have been found to be increasingly popular with fathers as well, which is where the “Daddy Makeover” comes in. Men are also prone to weight gain and wrinkles due to the stresses of aging and being a parent. Being a parent also reduces time available for exercise.

The “Daddy Makeover” consists of liposuction to reshape the chest and waistline, areas which may be difficult to target with exercise alone. However, liposuction is not the only cosmetic procedure that men undergo. According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, men account for nearly 10 percent of procedures which include everything from nose, to eyelids, to facelifts.

“The Daddy Makeover is a great procedure to help men look and feel younger” says Dr. Sam Speron. “With families come more responsibilities and less time to eat healthy and exercise, the Daddy Makeover helps men boost their confidence.”

Dr. Speron is the founder and medical director of Dr. Speron Plastic Surgery, SC. He is board certified with the American Board of Plastic Surgery and an active member of both the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS).
