Joining InterComponentWare in 2006, Dr. Feinen initially held product management responsibility for LifeSensor, the company's flagship product, a web-based Personal Health Record solution. Within a year, Dr. Feinen was asked to head up Corporate Product Management, leading the effort to gather market information, product requirements, and design specifications for the rapidly expanding eHealth marketplace. Dr. Feinen's talents as both a technologist and physician resulted in his participation in many customer discussions and sales events.

In his new role as CMO, Dr. Feinen will work closely with the sales team and will represent the company on numerous committees, panels and will share his knowledge of the eHealth marketplace at conferences and exhibitions.

Dr. Feinen practiced medicine in Germany for nearly ten years before merging his medical knowledge with information systems technology. Working in the hospital information and practice management systems sectors, Dr. Feinen amongst others served as Managing Director for CompuGROUP Health Services, which included the vita-X personal health record.

Jeremy Coote, CEO of InterComponentWare Inc., comments on the value Dr. Feinen brings to the U.S. team: "Rainer has been on the front lines of the European adoption and successful use of eHealth solutions. His considerable experience and knowledge will further differentiate InterComponentWare from others in the eHealth space."
