Dr. Philip Miller Named One of New York Magazine’s “Best Doctors 2013”
Date:6/24/2013

New York, NY (PRWEB) June 24, 2013

Dr. Miller has once again been recognized in New York Magazine’s publication of “Best Doctors 2013” as a leading physician in otolaryngology in the New York metro area.

The sixteenth annual publication of New York Magazine’s Best Doctors issue includes 1,198 peer selected primary care and specialty care physicians. This list is generated from research and information company Castle Connolly Medical Ltd.’s selection of top doctors for the metropolitan New York area, which comprise those in twenty counties from New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. Doctors are chosen for nomination through a peer-review study of other top medical professionals. Licensed physicians are able to vote online for those that they feel are at the top of their field. Doctors cannot nominate themselves. The individuals in this list, which represent the top ten percent of doctors in the area, are distributed among 65 medical specialties, including pediatrics, dermatology, plastic surgery, psychiatry, cardiovascular disease, and otolaryngology.

Dr. Miller is highly regarded for his experience in facial plastic surgery and cosmetic surgery that spans over 20 years. His is actively sought for his expertise in rhinoplasty and facial rejuvenation. He holds double board certification in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery. In addition to his practice, Dr. Miller is an assistant professor in New York University School of Medicine’s otolaryngology department. He is also a fellow and diplomat of several associations and has published many articles. For the past five years, Dr. Miller has been consistently included in Castle Connolly’s Top Doctors: New York Metro Area, which is the list from which New York Magazine’s Best Doctors is derived.
