Dr. Peter J. Capizzi of Stillwater Plastic Surgery Honored in Patient Satisfaction Survey

Surgeon receives top score in Carolinas Medical Center-University survey

CHARLOTTE, N.C., May 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Dr. Peter J. Capizzi of Stillwater Plastic Surgery received a top score for plastic surgery in the 2008 Carolinas Medical Center-University patient satisfaction survey.

"This is a tremendous honor for Dr. Capizzi and his staff," said Spencer Lilly, president of CMC-University, who coordinates the program and selects the honorees. "The patient survey evaluates the overall quality of doctor care. Dr. Capizzi is not only well-respected by his peers, but also his patients. It's fortunate for the community that we are able to have him practicing in our CMC-University facilities."

About Dr. Peter J. Capizzi

Capizzi is double board-certified in plastic surgery. He practices at both Carolinas Medical Center and Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Capizzi is chairman of Presbyterian Hospital's Department of Plastic Surgery and current president of the Greater Charlotte Plastic Surgery Group. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery (ASPS), the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), and has mentored residents from the University of North Carolina, Duke University and the Mayo Clinic.

As the only invited member in the Charlotte area of the National Advisory Council of Leaders in Breast Aesthetics, Capizzi is a recognized expert with breast implant surgery. In addition, Capizzi is one of only two doctors in the Charlotte region to be invited to the Mentor Master Series in Dallas, a meeting for a very select group of cosmetic breast surgeons.
