Dr. Paul Yost, an Allied Anesthesia physician, has been elected as president of the 3,000-member California Society of Anesthesiologists. Yost enters into the office with a vow to listen and learn from his colleagues.
“I hope that by doing so I can encourage others to engage politically with the CSA or other organizations in a manner that is as meaningful to them as it is to me,” he said.
Yost brings a wealth of experience and a breadth of interests to the statewide organization, which promotes the highest professional standards, provides continuing education, and advocates for anesthesiologists and their patients.

As CSA president, Yost intends to really listen to members, especially the younger ones, to help identify and respond to their changing needs.
