Dr. Mahesh Ramachandran Joins Marianjoy Medical Group

WHEATON, Ill., Sept. 10 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Marianjoy Medical Group is pleased to announce that Mahesh Ramachandran, M.D., has joined their physical medicine and rehabilitation practice which is based in Wheaton, Illinois.

Dr. Ramachandran is the medical director of Rush Oak Park Hospital's Rehabilitation Program and Services. He is board certified in both physiatry and internal medicine, and his medical practice addresses the medically complex needs of rehabilitation patients. Dr. Ramachandran completed his medical training at the Chicago Medical School (now Rosalind Franklin University) after receiving his undergraduate degree at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. He was chief resident during his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Loma Linda University & Medical Center in California. Dr. Ramachandran completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1998.

Dr. Ramachandran's practice style is a reflection of his holistic approach to patient care, as well as his commitment to treating each individual with respect, empathy and compassion.

The Marianjoy Medical Group (MMG) consists of 21 physiatrists who manage over 200 acute rehab beds, 8 outpatient clinics and 450 subacute rehab beds in the western Chicago suburbs. MMG physicians provide a variety of physical medicine and rehabilitation services to adults and children with disabilities and are on the medical staff at Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital as well as 20 community hospitals and academic medical centers.
