The survey conducted by Key Professional Media Inc. is based on an intricate process that aims to evaluate the best and brightest professionals in the field of dentistry. The pool of candidates for the top 10 title is created by ballots requesting dentists in the state of New Jersey to specify the names of their colleagues whom, in their opinion, excel at their medical specialty, self-excluding.

The database is then enhanced by the personnel of KPM Inc. based on medical publications and online sources. The list is then filtered according to experience, professional/academic achievements, numbers of publications and other honors before its revision by a blue ribbon panel and final selection process.

(201) Health Magazine publishes the results of annual survey and in 2012, the practice of Dr. Leonid Rubinov, DDS was nominated in the top 10 list. Dr. Rubinov is a dental specialist with a background of 35 years in the field who currently practices the profession in Bergen, NJ. He obtained his PhD. from the Saint Petersburg Medical Institute in 1984 and his DDS degree from NY College of Dentistry.

A member of the ADA and the NJ Dental Association, Dr. Leonid Rubinov of Real Smile Dental also has an academic career at the New York University's College of Dentistry, the International Department, where he holds lectures as part of the Comprehensive and Aesthetic program.
