He is at the forefront for advanced eye procedures utilizing the 21st century's cutting edge technology. With new science and medical advances being discovered everyday, now many can have the privilege of optimum vision through Dr. Khanna.

The Doctor was interviewed by life after 50 magazine editors and gave them some insight into his exciting and cutting edge procedures. Inspired at a young age Khanna explains how his love of vision care began. "Growing up I saw a lot of people with visual disabilities, my passion to help those people lead me to medical school."

Today Dr. Khanna has preformed thousands of eye procedures and has offices all over southern California. There is a procedure for everyone with eye impairment young or old it is never too late. As Dr. Khanna explains his newest procedure PRELEX - Presbyopia is targeted toward the 50 and over age group. Presbyopia occurs over time and is the inability to focus in close proximities; this causes the need for reading glasses. "The surgery includes exchanging the natural lens for a Presbyopic implant lens." In essence the surgery gets rid of your reading glasses while preserving or improving your distance vision. This can be done even if a person has cataracts. The surgery takes less than 15 minutes and can also prevent cataract development. Dr. Khanna has even restored vision in legally blind patients. Dr. Khanna was featured as the cover story in Life After 50; a great honor reserved for people of importance or celebrities. Dr. Khanna and the Khanna Institute feel humble at this honor.
