Dr. Kerry M. Goad of Goad Dental Raises Awareness of Dental Hygiene Through the Month of October by Highlighting the Connection Between Oral Health and a Healthy Body
Date:10/28/2013

Richardson, TX (PRWEB) October 28, 2013

In recognition of dental hygiene awareness month, Dr. Kerry M. Goad focuses on patient education with gum disease prevention and healthy tooth replacement options for optimal oral health.

The most important way to keep up with oral health is to brush properly and floss every day. Dr. Goad emphasizes this gum disease prevention, and reminds patients to combine these efforts with frequent dental cleanings.

Without proper care, patients are at risk for tooth decay, gum disease, jaw bone deterioration and ultimately losing teeth. When preventive measures are no longer effective, Dr. Goad offers many different treatment plans to help patients return to their optimal dental health.

Gum disease patients have access to gentle laser gum surgery through Dr. Goad. The surgery stimulates bone growth, which often deteriorates when disease is present. This bone regeneration helps to save natural teeth. For teeth that cannot be saved, patients can receive a tooth replacement with dental implants, dentures or implant supported dentures. Dr. Goad offers dental implant maintenance at his office, but does not place them.

Patients concerned about their oral health should contact Dr. Goad today for a dental consultation.
