Date:11/13/2013

New York, NY (PRWEB) November 13, 2013

Dr. Toshikazu Kamiya, President and CEO at Kyowa Hakko USA, and Dr. Danielle Citrolo, Pharm.D and Registered Pharmacist at Kyowa Hakko USA will discuss the health benefits of Kyowa’s ultra-pure L-Citrulline at SupplySide West, Friday, November 15th, from 11 – 11:50 a.m. in the Sands Convention Center, VendorBrief Booth 14074 sponsored by Kyowa Hakko USA.

L-Citrulline is an amino acid that plays an important role in nitric oxide metabolism and regulation. L-Citrulline is converted to L-arginine in the body, leading to increased production of nitric oxide (NO) and effects such as vasodilation. It is expected to relieve muscle fatigue through promotion of energy production and ammonia elimination. Antioxidant action and heart protection action are also known.

Dr. Toshikazu Kamiya is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Kyowa Hakko USA. Prior to joining Kyowa Hakko USA he was the director of Kyowa Hakko Bio, Healthcare Products Development Center in Tsukuba, Japan. About Kyowa Hakko’s L-Citrulline
L-Citrulline is an amino acid that plays an important role in nitric oxide metabolism and regulation.* L-Citrulline is converted to L-Arginine in the body, leading to sustained increases in both L-Arginine and nitric oxide.* An ingredient with application in the areas of heart health and sports nutrition, L-Citrulline is preservative-free, allergen-free, and contains no artificial flavors or colors. Its low hygroscopicity, high stability, and mild taste makes it suitable for use in a variety of formulations. As proteins do not contain L-Citrulline, taking L-Citrulline is the sole way of direct supplementation of this unique amino acid to the body. Manufactured in the U.S. using a proprietary fermentation process, l-citrulline is an ultra-pure amino acid that carries the Kyowa Quality logo, ensuring you an ingredient backed by our commitment to the highest manufacturing standards.
