Julian Whitaker, MD, has the distinct honor of providing the foreword to Suzanne Somers’ new book.

Potomac, MD (PRWEB) October 15, 2009 — Julian Whitaker, MD, has the distinct honor of providing the foreword to Suzanne Somers’ new book Knockout: Interviews with Doctors Who are Curing Cancer and How to Prevent Getting It In the First Place. The book highlights Ms. Somers’ personal experience with cancer while also detailing how conventional medicine has mismanaged the treatment and prevention of cancer. Through interviews with more than 10 doctors and health experts in the world of alternative medicine, Somers offers a new path toward wellness and prevention, with therapies and advice overlooked by most doctors.

Dr. Whitaker is a noted author, lecturer, and television personality. He has written about alternative therapies for cancer for nearly 30 years, and works closely with renowned cancer specialist Dr. Stanislaw Burzynski, featured in Ms. Somers’ book. In the forward, Dr. Whitaker highlights his experience with conventional medicine’s approach to cancer, stating his belief that “the underlying issue is that the entire cancer treatment ‘industry’ has been following a faulty paradigm for close to a hundred years.” He goes on to say that “like all failed paradigms in human history, this one is coming to an end, and I expect that Knockout will hasten its demise.”
