Like other laser whitening treatments, Pearlinbrite uses a laser to activate peroxides in the gel that is applied to the teeth, exciting oxygen to "attack" stains. Unlike other treatments, however, Pearlinbrite uses not one, but two lasers. This, combined with multiple carefully formulated laser-specific gels, increases the procedure's effectiveness, according to Dr. Linhart.
