Dr. Casad Offers Hybrid Concierge Model from Concierge Choice Physicians
Date:6/17/2013

Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) June 17, 2013

Dallas-based physician Dr. Connie Casad has become the first gynecologist in the nation to offer the hybrid concierge model from Concierge Choice Physicians. In a typical program, about three to eight percent of patients choose to join the concierge program and the rest stay with the practice as before. The approach helps to keep good physicians in practice, doesn’t exacerbate physician shortages and does not disenfranchise patients.

“Like a lot of my patients, I struggled with issues related to my health and well-being as I aged,” said Dr. Casad. “I felt like the current healthcare model didn’t provide a system that could provide patients with what they wanted and needed. I conducted considerable research and I believe that the concierge model gives the best option possible for my patients who want to take charge of their health and who are interested in prevention and wellness.”

The hybrid concierge model provides medical services not covered by patients’ traditional insurance. For a modest fee, equal to the cost of a daily latte from a local coffee shop, concierge pat
