Dr. Andrew K. Palmer Joins BME's (BioMedical Enterprises, Inc.) Board of Directors

SAN ANTONIO, Oct. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- BME (BioMedical Enterprises, Inc.) today announced that Andrew K. Palmer, MD, who has been serving as Medical Director, was elected to BME's Board of Directors.

"During this last year, Dr. Palmer has excelled in his leadership as Medical Director of BME by significantly enhancing BME's understanding of musculoskeletal problems, its surgeon relationships and corporate reputation. His informal advice to the BOD over this year has demonstrated his invaluable contributions to our corporate direction and governance and thus gained him unanimous support in taking this new position," stated Dr. Casey Fox, CEO.

Dr. Palmer has been a practicing upper extremity surgeon for over 30 years and is currently head of the Hand Division at the State University of New York's Department of Orthopedic Surgery in Syracuse. He is the author of numerous scientific publications and books and served as the 52nd president of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH). Dr. Palmer will continue to serve as BME's Medical Director in addition to his role on BME's board of directors.
