Double Blind Study Proves The Pink Patch Works for Weight Loss
Date:12/15/2008

Independent physician's study confirms the efficacy of The Pink Patch for weight control with an average weight loss of 6.1 lbs. (2.7 kg) in 4 weeks. The Pink Patch is a once-a-day topical patch designed to help individuals achieve their weight loss goals. Dr. Hudson stated in her findings, "The results demonstrated that in the absence of any dietary or activity changes, The Pink Patch, can potentially help increase weight loss and make positive changes in body dimensions through the delivery of active ingredients."

Sheffield, United Kingdom (PRWEB) December 12, 2008 -- Renowned physiologist Dr. Annette Hudson recently conducted a double-blind, observational independent study to determine the efficacy of The Pink Patch. Over a 4-week period, study participants who used The Pink Patch with active herbal ingredients experienced:

- Average weight loss of 2.9 lbs (1.3 kg) in the first week

- Average weight loss of 6.1 lbs. (2.7 kg) after 4 weeks

- Decrease of 2.8 inches (7.1 cm) on average including hips, waist, thighs, biceps and chest over 4 weeks

- BMI decrease of 1 unit over 4 weeks

The "placebo" group demonstrated virtually no weight loss, no change in BMI (body mass index, which determines body fat) or change in inches on hips, waist, thighs, biceps or chest.

This study shows that the weight loss benefits of using The Pink Patch are not due to a "placebo" effect, but rather the combination of active herbal ingredients present when The Pink Patch is used daily, as recommended.

Dr. Hudson stated in her findings, "The results demonstrated that in the absence of any dietary or activity changes, The Pink Patch, can potentially help increase weight loss and make positive changes in body dimensions through the delivery of active ingredients."

The participants in the study were separated into an "active" group (Group A), which were given The Pink Patch with active herbal ingredients and a "placebo" group (Group B), that were given The Pink Patch without active ingredients. No individual was aware of which patch they were given, and both groups were asked not to change either their diet or exercise habits.

Two of the participants in the study that were in the "active" group said the following about their experiences using The Pink Patch for weight loss.

Simone said, "I think the patches are great. They're easy to use and [you just get on with your day." Simone lost 6 lbs. (2.7 kg)

Jackie said, "I like it [The Pink Patch because it's so much easier than a diet. Once you put your patch on, that's it. Job done. I've found I snack less." Jackie lost 7 lbs (3.1 kg)

In addition, a video news release has documented the actual stories and testimonials of the participants in the "active" group which can also be found on the website.
