NEW YORK, April 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Diversified Agency Services (DAS) today announced the launch of TogoRun(TM), a global healthcare communications agency with offices in New York and London. CPR senior vice president and senior partner Lauren Letellier was named managing director, New York. Letellier has more than 20 years of public relations agency experience and, prior to joining CPR, was a senior member of Fleishman-Hillard's New York healthcare practice. Jennifer Wilson, formerly of Athena Medical Public Relations and Roche, was named managing director, London.

The Story Behind TogoRun
The firm's name was inspired by the 1925 Nome Serum Run, when a diphtheria epidemic threatened to wipe out the frontier Alaskan town. As sled dogs raced 1,000 miles to deliver serum from Anchorage, an undersized Husky named Togo led his team farther and faster than any other. Today, this race to save lives is memorialized in the annual Iditarod.
