Diversified Agency Services Network Launches TogoRun(TM), A New Global Healthcare Communications Agency
Date:4/28/2009

Firm Opens Doors with Offices in New York and London

NEW YORK, April 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Diversified Agency Services (DAS) today announced the launch of TogoRun(TM), a global healthcare communications agency with offices in New York and London. TogoRun specializes in healthcare, pharmaceutical and consumer wellness public relations and public affairs; its client roster includes many of the world's leading healthcare brands.

The new agency will be a member of the DAS network of Omnicom Group Inc. DAS oversees operating companies in a variety of marketing disciplines, including customer relationship management, public relations and specialty communications.

TogoRun will expand DAS's global healthcare communications offering by absorbing and building upon the foundation of CPR Worldwide, a DAS healthcare boutique agency that has grown considerably in recent years.

"The launch reflects a new and exciting direction for this agency, as well as the importance we place on having diverse service offerings in a highly competitive market," said Tom Harrison, CEO of Omnicom's DAS. "TogoRun occupies a distinct position for clients seeking both the staff experience of a full-service agency and the customized service offering of a healthcare boutique."

Kathy Hyett will lead the new agency as president. Hyett previously headed CPR Worldwide and has more than 30 years of experience that includes award-winning agency work and leadership positions at Fleishman-Hillard, Burson-Marsteller and Mark Krueger & Associates.

CPR senior vice president and senior partner Lauren Letellier was named managing director, New York. Letellier has more than 20 years of public relations agency experience and, prior to joining CPR, was a senior member of Fleishman-Hillard's New York healthcare practice. Jennifer Wilson, formerly of Athena Medical Public Relations and Roche, was named managing director, London.

"At TogoRun, our fundamental operating philosophy is to provide faster, nimbler services with an emphasis on creativity and impeccable delivery," said Hyett. "We will represent clients in the US, UK, and EMEA region from day one. Balancing creativity and compliance across dozens of regulatory geographies is a distinctive strength of the firm."

TogoRun's capabilities include advocacy relations, consumer health communications, product launches, opinion leader development, marketing and brand support, media relations (traditional and digital), public affairs, health policy, patient education and disease awareness campaigns, scientific data support, event management and Web development.

The Story Behind TogoRun

The firm's name was inspired by the 1925 Nome Serum Run, when a diphtheria epidemic threatened to wipe out the frontier Alaskan town. As sled dogs raced 1,000 miles to deliver serum from Anchorage, an undersized Husky named Togo led his team farther and faster than any other. Today, this race to save lives is memorialized in the annual Iditarod.

"We take our inspiration from the example of those indomitable spirits who strove to complete a mission of health against all odds," said Hyett. "We know what it takes to win, and we bring these qualities to our clients. Knowledge, fidelity and endurance are the essence of our brand promise."

TogoRun is located at 220 East 42nd St., New York, NY, 10017; +1 212-883-9080. London offices are at 85 Strand, London WC2R 0DW; +44 207 554 1215. For more information, visit www.togorun.net.
