ollege of Surgeons (F.A.C.S.). He graduated from the University of Colorado Medical School and completed his residency at the University of Texas.

Dr. Dishler began practicing general ophthalmology in 1982. In 1985, he founded the Dishler Laser Institute which was one of Colorado's first state-certified ambulatory surgery centers.

Dr. Dishler has numerous groundbreaking achievements to his name. He was the first ophthalmologist in the state of Colorado to perform LASIK and Automated Lamellar Keratoplasty (ALK), and one of the first in the United States to perform the advanced all-laser IntraLASIK procedure. He also performed the first LASIK procedure for farsightedness in the state of Colorado. Dr. Dishler has over 25 years experience in refractive surgery and has performed over 50,000 LASIK and laser vision procedures. In addition, he was the first and only ophthalmologist in Colorado to develop an FDA approved Excimer Laser, and the Excimer Beam Profiler, making him an important contributor to the advancement of eye surgery technology.
