Digital Pathology Association Expands Educational Offerings at Pathology Visions, ASCP and NSH

The Digital Pathology Association (DPA), a non-profit organization comprised of pathologists, scientists, technologists and representatives from the industry that facilitates education and awareness of digital pathology applications, is offering more educational opportunities in 2013. In the coming weeks, the DPA will host a seminar at the American Society for Clinical Pathology’s (ASCP’s) annual conference, a workshop at the National Society for Histotechnology’s (NSH’s) annual conference and offer 12.5 continuing medical education (CME) credits at their annual conference, Pathology Visions.

On Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at 10:00 AM CST, the DPA will host a seminar titled “Are You Ready to Implement Digital Pathology in Your Laboratory?” at the ASCP annual conference in Chicago, IL at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. The seminar will be presented by DPA President, Dr. Kim Dickinson, and DPA Membership Chair, Dr. Eric F. Glassy in Columbus Rooms A and B. This seminar will educate attendees on the adoption barriers to digital pathology, the applications and uses of digital pathology, and demonstrate how digital pathology is used in the community hospital and commercial laboratory setting.
