The importance of fruits and vegetables can not go understated. Both fruits and vegetables can provide the body with a wide variety of vitamins and minerals that allow the body to perform optimally. Along with the amount of vitamins available, these foods also provide the body with fiber. Fiber is essential for breaking down food and passing it easily through your digestive tract. Colorful fruits and vegetables also help battle free radicals that can invade your body and wreak havoc on it.
