Date:12/31/2012

(PRWEB) December 31, 2012

Diet-to-Go, a leading producer of wholesome diet meal plans scientifically proven to promote natural weight loss, announced today it will be giving away 1,000 meals in January to encourage healthy weight loss.

Diet-to-Go’s “1,000 Meal Giveaway,” which takes place Jan. 1-Jan. 31, will offer Facebook users a chance to win free meals and kick off their New Year’s weight-loss plans the healthy and delicious way!

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, more than one-third of U.S. adults suffer from obesity, which can cause health issues such as diabetes, hypertension and heart disease.

“The obesity epidemic is something we really want to address,” said CEO Hilton Davis. “We teach people who may have poor eating habits how to eat right through our nutritious, perfectly-proportioned meal plans.”

Ten lucky grand-prize winners will receive one month free, which includes 60 breakfast, lunch and dinner meals. Another 25 winners will receive a week of free meals, which includes 15 breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Weekly winners will be announced each Friday throughout the month.

Diet-to-Go’s mission is to battle America’s troubling “super-size-me” culture by focusing on a common-sense approach to nutrition. Rather than engage in the latest trends, Diet-to-Go shows Americans how to embrace a higher quality of life by enjoying real, nutritious meals and learning healthier eating habits. People shed pounds naturally and quickly while gaining a solid understanding of proper portion sizes and sustainable weight-loss.

“Diet-to-Go gave me the push I needed,” said customer Amy Johnson. “It helped me build a foundation for better health and I’m loving the way I look!”

To enter the sweepstakes, fans simply need to visit Diet-to-Go’s Facebook page, “Like” the page and click “Enter Sweepstakes” to fill out a form. For full sweepstake rules, please visit diettogo.com/1000meals.
