Diane Adams Joins Allscripts as Executive Vice President, Human Resources

CHICAGO, July 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Allscripts (Nasdaq: MDRX) announced today that Diane Adams has joined the Company as Executive Vice President, Human Resources. Ms. Adams brings to the position more than 20 years of finance, field operations and human resources experience in the high tech industry, most recently as Vice President of Human Resources for Worldwide Sales and International Theaters at Cisco, a worldwide leader of networking for the Internet and a key Allscripts partner.

Ms. Adams joined Cisco in 1995 and was instrumental in shaping the HR vision, culture, and talent and executive development strategies that enabled Cisco to meet rapidly-changing business and market requirements. Over the past five years, Ms. Adams and her team at Cisco hired more than 25,000 individuals.
