specialists to ease referrals and coordinate patient care."

my1HIE(R) uses a Physician Organization distribution model for easier adoption and increased success. Physicians constantly collaborate with each other and practice as networks of physicians. Working with physician organizations and hospitals allows my1HIE(R) to bring up an entire network of doctors which will improve the coordination of clinical information, enhance patient care and reduce the cost of healthcare.

"The DMC hospitals, physicians and specialists working together with United Physicians and Olympia physician organizations speaks volumes in today's healthcare community," said Dr. Steven Grant, MD, FACP, President and CEO of my1HIE(R). "Clinically, DMC is one of the country's leading hospital systems and is the leading hospital system in EMR adoption. We applaud their decision to embrace the my1HIE(R) technology and connect their more than 3,000 affiliated physicians access to the areas largest health information exchange."

Participating physicians and hospitals utilize My WorkspaceSM, the physician web portal, to connect to the Health Information Exchange (HIE), share patient information and access clinical applications including: e-Prescribing, Patient Registries, e-Labs and secure HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) compliant communication tools through a single sign-on interface. My WorkspaceSM was designed by physicians for physicians and developed with and secured by Covisint, a subsidiary of Compuware.
