Design-her Gals(TM) Announces the Ground-Breaking Virtual On-Line Walk for Wishes to Grant Dreams for Stage IV Breast Cancer Patients this Holiday Season Through Gal to Gal Foundation

BEND, Ore., Nov. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- The hugely successfully Design-her Gals website, http://www.designhergals.com will continue to make "virtual" history as they announce their "walk for wishes" campaign to grant dreams this holiday season for Stage IV breast cancer patients and their families through the Gal to Gal Foundation, the non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds and awareness exclusively for Stage 4 breast cancer patients.

During October's Breast Cancer Awareness month, the Gal to Gal Walk (http://www.galtogalwalk.org) raised in excess of $150,000 and has chosen to continue virtually walking in order to make this holiday season a "dream come true" for many diagnosed in the most critical stage of this disease.

Supporters participate in The Gal to Gal Walk by creating their virtual likeness online and then watching themselves "virtually" walk in their choice of 31 cities across America. Over 7,000 individuals have already joined -- sharing their stories and building momentum as more people participate in this innovative fundraising effort every day.

"Imagine joining celebrities, politicians, entrepreneurs, authors, musicians, artists, newsmakers, mothers, fathers, grandparents, students and others all "virtually walking" to help benefit a group of individuals who are facing one of the most difficult battles of their lives," commented Jeanne Fitzmaurice, founder of Design-her Gals and Gal to Gal Foundation. Fitzmaurice was selected by Yoplait and Susan G. Komen as a 2007 Yoplait Champion. "As we strive to raise awareness and funds for Stage 4 breast cancer patients and their families, our goal is to bring dignity and comfort to those who need it the most."
