Dermatology Alliance-Keller Offers Reveal Facial Imager
Date:2/18/2013

Keller, TX (PRWEB) February 18, 2013

No two people have identical skin conditions which is why it is important to have an accurate skin analysis and custom treatment recommendations. To better provide this service to patients, Dermatology Alliance-Keller now has a Reveal® Imager from Canfield Imaging Systems in its Fort Worth dermatology office. The high tech facial imaging system has a 3D viewer that analyzes surface and sub-surface skin conditions.

Using exclusive RBX technology, the Reveal Imager scans the skin from any angle and captures detailed visual information of key areas that affect the skin’s health and appearance. The Reveal Imager provides extraordinary visualization of sub-surface melanin and vascular conditions to evaluate skin pigmentation, sun damage, texture, wrinkles, rosacea, spider veins and acne. The computer-controlled system allows doctors to zoom in and magnify image areas for close examination of a specific skin characteristic. The results are used to prepare a custom report with photos and skin care recommendations. Additional scans can be done to track changes in the skin and evaluate the effectiveness of the skin care program.

“The Reveal Imaging system has been invaluable in showing patients the real condition of their skin and what cannot be seen below the surface," states R. Todd Plott, M.D., a board certified dermatologist and founder of Dermatology Alliance-Keller, noting the scan is painless and takes just a few minutes. "We will use the Reveal Imager to take before and after pictures and show patients how much their skin is improving."
