When you can't brush, pop in a mint! The Nuvora Oral Health Mint makes it easier to clean your mouth after each snack or meal. The patented, long-acting, convenient lozenge is designed to slowly release active ingredients for an hour to help dissolve biofilm, kill bacteria, capture malodorous compounds, neutralize acids and stimulate saliva production in the oral cavity. The Nuvora Oral Health mint, with the revolutionary SuRe Technology(TM), is the only product that assures sufficient, long lasting effectiveness to achieve desired cleaning and fresher breath.

LED Dental announces the next generation of the VELscope Oral Cancer Screening System, making it easier than ever for dental practices to detect oral cancer. Called the VELscope Vantage, the new system offers a more powerful lamp technology that provides better fluorescence and improved camera imaging and a camera adapter kit for clear and crisp digital photography.

HealthCare Volunteer

HealthCare Volunteer is a program partially funded by the CDA Foundation that helps low-income families meet the requirements of AB 1433, the kindergarten oral health assessment law that requires all school children entering kindergarten to be seen by a dentist. HealthCare Volunteer has launched a statewide free dental screening program to help connect kindergarten students to dentists willing to provide free screenings in their office. Dentists can register to volunteer and will be provided with dental screening supply kits through the program. The HealthCare Volunteer program recently expanded, making it easier for patients and dentists to connect and increase the number of low-income children that can receive care.
