Dental Convention to Highlight Latest Breakthroughs in Dentistry

SACRAMENTO, Calif., Sept. 8 /PRNewswire/

WHAT: CDA's Fall Scientific Session will include several intriguing

product launches. The exhibit hall will be open Friday and

Saturday from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. for

reporters and dental professionals to examine the latest

innovations in the dental industry. A few of the most exciting

products include:

New Percept(R) 420(TM) Black Dental floss -- This new floss is so

thin, you would never find it on a light-colored carpet, which is

why they also offer it in black! The thickness of the floss is

more than 200 times less than standard floss. It will be available

in NoWax(TM) and LiteWax(TM).

Cubex(TM) Storage Cabinet -- For those dentists that have trouble

tracking their supplies and sometimes run out, Cubex(TM) by VSupply

is their solution. Automated reordering allows usage and

replenishment data to be transmitted electronically to a Web-hosted

database, which increases workflow efficiency by having supplies

stocked and available. Users can efficiently manage the ordering,

tracking and costs associated with inventory.

E-Prop -- Some say necessity is the mother of invention; well one

dental hygienist saw a need and created a product to fill it. E-

Prop, an oral mouth prop, was created by a dental hygienist who

always wished she had another hand. The patent pending design

allows for a standard disposable evacuation tip to be placed in the

mouth prop reducing the need for labor intensive hand held suction.
