Dennis R. Hill MD Announces Launch of High Dose Rate Brachytherapy of Prostate Cancer Website
Date:3/20/2013

Oakland, CA (PRWEB) March 20, 2013

Dennis R. Hill MD announces the launch of a new website designed to inform the public about a technologically advanced and efficient form of treatment for prostate cancer hdrprostatebrachytherapy.com. Dr. Hill specializes in high dose rate brachytherapy and is one of the few physicians in the country to do so exclusively. Prostate cancer is a disease that is of concern to men who are middle aged and beyond and will be more of an issue as the baby boomers mature.

Once a patient has the diagnosis of prostate cancer the treatment choices can be daunting. “This new website gives a clear description of one of the prostate treatments available. It is much needed in the marketplace of ideas,” says Sylviaette Gamble, public relations director for Dr. Hill.

High dose rate brachytherapy is a safe and effective temporary internal radiation treatment of localized cancer of the prostate that has advantages over the other major treatment choices for this disease,” says Dr. Hill. “It is a form of radiation treatment from the inside out so less tissue is irradiated, there is no residual radioactivity to worry about, the anatomy remains intact and the treatment course is only a few days. The success rate is the same as surgery, external beam radiation and permanent seeds and there are fewer side effects.”

Dr. Hill has been doing high dose rate brachytherapy exclusively since 2004. He has done over five hundred high dose rate prostate brachytherapy implants and has published scholarly articles on the subject.

His office is located at: Dennis R. Hill MD 3012 Summit Street Suite 2675 Oakland, CA 94609 510-869-8875 drh(at)dennisrhillmd(dot
