Demand for Short-Term Medical Help Leads to Growth for Travel Nursing Staffing Agency; Prompts Move to New Location and Addition of New Online Tools for Nurses
Date:7/15/2009

LUBBOCK, Texas, July 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Trends in the economy and the medical industry have led to a demand for less permanent positions and more temporary assignments. This matches perfectly with an increasing number of medical personnel looking for more flexibility and variety in their careers. For these reasons and more, Advantage Medical Staffing, a travel nursing staffing agency, has seen growth which has led to their moving to a larger location.

Advantage Medical Staffing (AMS) has seen steady growth over the past few years and now offers placement nationwide for travel nurses in both permanent placement and per diem opportunities. This growth has led to the need for a larger facility. The new facility will allow for improved customer service as more representatives are brought on. Plus, the new location has nearby freeway access which will help visiting clients and candidates.

Medical personnel looking to careers in travel nursing have more reasons than ever to select Advantage Medical Staffing. AMS has recently made several improvements to their web-based human resource capabilities, now allowing their healthcare professionals to view their calendar and paystubs, as well as to schedule any testing or credentials which can be completed online at their convenience.

"Our healthcare professionals are located throughout the country and needed easy access to their schedules and other things to make their jobs and lives easier," says Molly Harris, CEO of Advantage Medical Staffing. "That's why we are continuing to invest in the technology and increased staffing they need, and the improved facilities we need here at the home office to maximize their satisfaction and the satisfaction of our clients."
