Delphi Healthcare Partners Announces new obstetrics/Gynecology Hospitalist Program and Private Practice Partnerships with St. Rose Hospital in Hayward, California

Morrisville, NC (PRWEB) March 11, 2010 -- Delphi Healthcare Partners, Inc. (www.delphihp.com) announced today its partnership with St. Rose Hospital in Hayward, California to provide a comprehensive OB/Gyn solution. With help from Delphi, St. Rose is in the process of launching an OB Hospitalist (Laborist) Program and an OB Private Practice.

With this new venture, Delphi will provide dedicated, full-time Laborists to enhance the hospital’s emergency department capabilities when unassigned patients arrive at the ED for care. Additionally, the program affords improved quality and support to the area's current OB/Gyn physicians. By adopting this innovative new model, local physicians will be able to focus on their private patients, which will result in a much more effective level of care for the growing number of area residents in need of obstetrical and gynecological care.

“This new program offers the highest level of care for laboring and pregnant women,” said Jeff Gruer, St. Rose Hospital Vice President. “By having a Laborist on-site 24/7 it will increase patient safety, quality of care and physician availability. It also allows for additional opportunities to work collaboratively and support community health clinics in our service area.”

To complement continuum of care and further St. Rose’s mission, the hospital will partner with Delphi and physicians to open The Women’s Center at St. Rose. According to Gruer, “this community investment will improve access to quality prenatal care through skilled practitioners and physicians in an inviting clinic setting.”
