EASTON, Md., Nov. 29 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Delmarva Foundation for Medical Care announced recently that Joy Hogan Rozman, R.N., M.Ed., will serve as the company's new Chief Operating Officer. In this position, she will oversee three major areas of the Easton-based, non-profit healthcare consulting organization: performance assessment and validation; data integrity; and interventions. A senior executive with more than 20 years executive leadership and management experience, Ms. Rozman joined Delmarva on November 19.

"Throughout her career she has demonstrated the ability to achieve maximum performance and transformational change as a results-oriented, inspirational leader," commented Dr. Christian E. Jensen, Delmarva's President and CEO. "We know she will contribute greatly to our future growth."

Experienced in both the public and private sectors, Ms. Rozman has an extensive background in public health and human service settings in the United States and Europe including 19 years of QIO experience with the Virginia Health Quality Center (VHQC). Most recently, Ms. Rozman has provided consultative services to the Department of Defense and a national health system in the Middle East.

According to Dr. Jensen, "Ms. Rozman has a superior strategic aptitude and is a visionary with a clear sense of purpose and urgency." In addition to her work experience, she holds several degrees: a Master of Education in Human Services Administration from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst; a Bachelor of Science in Public Health Education from Columbus University; an Associate of Science in Nursing from Columbus University; and a Quality Manager Certificate from George Washington University's School of Continuing Engineering Education and Applied Sciences.
