Definitive Healthcare Hosts Third Annual Golf Tournament to Support the Jimmy Fund
Date:9/12/2018

Definitive Healthcare, the leading provider of data, intelligence, and analytics on the healthcare provider market, hosted its third annual golf tournament supporting the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund.

“It’s a really fun day in support of an incredible cause,” said John Caccavaro, the tournament director. “I’m happy we have such wonderful sponsors and volunteers. The growth we’ve seen over past two years is a tribute to their hard work and support.”

The event was organized by DefinitiveCares, the community service organization at Definitive Healthcare. More than 140 participants and 20 volunteers attended the event. In addition to golf, there was a silent auction, dinner, a putting contest, and more. All told, the event raised over $50,000 for the Jimmy Fund, a 66 percent increase over the previous year’s tournament.

“I’m thrilled to say that this tournament continues to be a success, so we can support incredible organizations like Dana Farber and the Jimmy Fund,” said Jason Krantz, CEO of Definitive Healthcare. “Cancer touches so many of our lives, and fundraising events like this one give us an opportunity to reflect on the importance of the work that these organizations are doing.”
DefinitiveCares’ mission is to give back to the community through active engagement, primarily volunteer initiatives and events. By engaging with communities across Massachusetts, DefinitiveCares seeks to facilitate a more open-minded and selfless environment both at Definitive Healthcare and in the communities we serve.

Since the program’s inception in September 2015, Definitive Healthcare employees have committed over 2,000 service hours and raised more than $120,000 for community organizations. Along with the Jimmy Fund, DefinitiveCares has supported the Crossroads School, Habitat for Humanity, Learning Center for the Deaf, Boston Healthcare for the Homeless, and other local organizations.
