Thousands of DePuy Pinnacle hip lawsuits (http://www.depuypinnacle-lawsuit.com/) continue to progress in a multidistrict litigation now underway in U.S. District Court, Northern District of Texas, Bernstein Liebhard LLP reports. According to an Order dated December 4, 2013 the proceeding’s Special Master has agreed to delay consideration of Remand Motions in a number of Pinnacle hip lawsuits until the completion of the litigation’s bellwether trials, which are slated to begin in September 2014. As such, a hearing scheduled for December 5th and 6th has been continued until a future date. (In re: DePuy Orthopaedics Inc. Pinnacle Hip Implant Product Liability Litigation, MDL No. 2244)
