Dataglobal’s Complete Archiving Product Suites For Enterprise-Wide Archiving Available from Dell

Heilbronn, Germany (PRWEB) July 17, 2014

Dataglobal, the technology leader for classification and archiving, today announced that Dell will resell dataglobal’s powerful archiving solutions with its servers, storage and service products. The relationship between Dell and dataglobal applies worldwide enabling dataglobal products to be purchased directly from Dell. The first projects were launched in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Benelux countries.

dataglobal’s archival solutions will complement Dell’s server and storage products allowing for a unified information governance solution. Dell’s customers will be able to procure all the needed hardware, software and services, enabling customers a single point of contact for the solution.

dataglobal’s software can archive e-mail, file servers, SharePoint, ERP documents and data simultaneously on the dg hyparchive integrated platform. The resulting unified archiving solution enables customers to benefit from the many advantages of a single, centralized infrastructure for archiving while replacing costly and under-performing standalone solutions. The solution allows customers to ensure the archiving of relevant information from all sources across the company while being able to reliably manage retention periods and eliminate duplicates to satisfy growing Information Governance compliance requirements efficiently.

The PowerEdge servers as well as Compellent and EqualLogic storage systems from Dell offer the ideal technical base for the archive solution because they combine efficiency, robustness and performance. Depending on customer requirements, Dell and dataglobal can optimize the server and storage solution archival solution to deliver an optimal price / performance ratio for the customer.

"Many of our customers already use Dell hardware with our products and are very satisfied. Now, Dell’s customers can benefit from getting a combined solution that includes hardware, software and services from a single source," said Wolfgang Munz, dataglobal CEO. "With Dell as a strong partner, we can now achieve a better market position and a stronger distribution network."
