Date:2/13/2008

FARMINGTON, Conn., Feb. 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Darwin Professional Underwriters, Inc. (Darwin) (NYSE: DR) today announces a new marketing relationship with Agency Specialty Product Network Insurance Services, Inc. (ASPN).

Under the announced arrangement, ASPN's nationwide team of specialty product experts will implement a marketing program intended to spread the word about Darwin's unique approach to writing professional liability and E&O coverages, including media liability, technology E&O and managed care organization E&O, among others. ASPN's efforts will be focused on raising awareness and generating interest in Darwin's products. ASPN is not a broker and does not place business for its producer partners.

Stephen Sills, President of Darwin, comments on the new partnership as follows: "Since our founding, Darwin has limited distribution to selected agents and brokers. This model is not changing. What we are setting out to accomplish here is an increased appreciation for Darwin's value proposition and greater demand for our products and services. Engaging ASPN's knowledgeable representatives to do this supports our existing producer network in a new and exciting way." ASPN's President, Jerry Tegan, concurs: "Our team is well-versed in what makes Darwin unique, and we are eager to bring that message to agent and broker contacts across the US."
