Damaka Delivers Advanced Sweeping™ Capability of Live Sessions Across Multiple Devices Over WiFi, 3G and 4G Networks
Date:4/1/2010

Damaka Sweeping™ technology is supported on iPhone, Android, Windows Mobile, Symbian, Windows PC and Mac platforms

Richardson, TX (PRWEB) April 1, 2010 -- Damaka, a technology pioneer in Mobile Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) software, had demonstrated the world’s first multiple sessions (Audio, Real-time 2-way Video, Application Sharing) Sweeping™ between laptops and mobile devices earlier in May 2009. With this launch, Damaka further extends its leadership in advanced Sweeping™ technology by enabling the end user to Sweep™ live sessions between any device (Laptop, Netbook or Smartphone) on any operating systems (iPhone, Android, Windows Mobile, Symbian etc.) over any network (WiFi, 3G, 4G).

“The power to seamlessly migrate any sessions between devices and networks is of great value add to a physician,” stated Dr. Prakash Ranka, Medical Advisor to Damaka. “Now a doctor can take an emergency live video call in real-time at home or hospital cafeteria and can Sweep™ the live session onto his or her laptop/netbook for hands-free (audio & video) session and continue to provide the patient care uninterrupted. Damaka’s technology significantly augments the productivity of a physician.”

Damaka has pushed the Mobile UCC technology to the next level leveraging the network to implement their advanced Sweeping™ technology. For example, a user could now Sweep™ a real-time live 2-way video call from his/her Droid device on Verizon 3G or iPhone on AT&T 3G to laptop/netbook connected via Sprint 4G or T-Mobile 3G (or in any other combination of devices and networks).
