Dr. Kim is utilizing Facebook to share before-and-after photos and information about his practice with the community.

Dallas, TX (Vocus) November 26, 2009 -- A prominent Dallas weight loss surgeon and founder of the Live Life Again Center for Bariatric Surgery is reaching out to current, former, and prospective patients through the popular social networking site Facebook. By establishing a Facebook page for his practice, Dr. David Kim seeks to provide information in a convenient and easily accessible format that many patients are already familiar and comfortable with. With over 300 million users, Facebook has quickly become one of the most popular social media sites in the world. Dr. Kim hopes to use its interactive capabilities to educate others on the benefits of weight loss surgery and the advantages of treatment at his practice.

Although his practice already has a robust website, Dr. Kim plans to use his new, expanded online presence to reach patients more effectively and provide them with helpful links and resources on bariatric surgery. Dr. Kim says he wants to educate men and women who are considering bariatric surgery in Dallas and the surrounding region on the results
