About Dr. Kim
The practice of Dr. David D. Kim, a bariatric surgeon in Dallas, has been recognized as a Center of Excellence, a distinction that is awarded to only one out of every 303 bariatric practices in the country. He has received numerous awards throughout his career, including being selected as North Hills Hospital’s Physician of the Year in 2006. He was also voted as a “Top Doc” by his peers in Fort Worth Magazine in 2007, and recently earned recognition as a Fellow of the American Society of Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS), the largest society for the specialty of Bariatric Surgery in the world. Dr. Kim has also been included in Castle Connolly’s list of America’s Top Doctors, an honor achieved by a vote amongst his peers. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery, and holds membership in the American College of Surgeons (Fellow), the American Society for Bariatric Surgery, the Tarrant County Medical Society, the Southeastern Surgical Congress, and the American Society of General Surgeons.
