Da Vinci Robotic Procedure Offers a Surgical Solution for Endometriosis; Now Available at Women’s Excellence in Endometriosis in Oakland County, Michigan
Date:3/15/2013

>Debbie Henry, MSN, NP-C, nurse practitioner at Women’s Excellence in Endometriosis commented, “The post operative results of the Da Vinci Robotic resection of endometriosis have been promising. Patients usually go into the procedure with some degree of pelvic pain and after the initial post op period patients report significant pelvic pain relief and overall reduction in the symptoms of endometriosis”. Follow up after the Da Vinci Robotic procedure includes keeping the patient’s hormones under control, usually with a birth control method, to limit the recurrence of the endometriosis. “At Women’s Excellence in Endometriosis, we are changing women’s lives for the better everyday”, Henry concluded.
