DXE Medical Named a Top Federal Government Contractor in Nashville

DXE Medical, Inc., a distributor of new and recertified medical equipment, was recently named one of the Top 25 Federal Government Contractors in the Nashville area by the Nashville Business Journal. Throughout the 2013 fiscal year, DXE was awarded $6.7 million in federal government contracts placing the company 16th on the list.

DXE was awarded contracts from a number of federal departments including the Department of the Navy, the Department of the Army, the Federal Prison System, and the Department of Veteran Affairs. As part of these contracts, DXE provided medical and surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies. DXE is a licensed distributor for a number of major medical manufacturers including Welch Allyn, Philips Healthcare, Zoll, GE Healthcare, and Physio-Control

These federal government contracts are a valued part of DXE Medical's business. DXE President Matt Spencer states, “Our government sales team has done a great job laying the foundation to serve both our customers, and the vendors that we represent. The federal government is our largest single customer and we strive to make it as easy as possible for them to work with us.”
