DSS Announces Debra Smolnik as Manager of Human Resources

DSS, a provider of innovative IT solutions that drive business value, is pleased to announce the hiring of Debra Smolnik as the Manager of Human Resources. Smolnik brings over 20 years of experience to the DSS team with expert-level human resource knowledge and solid leadership capabilities. Within this role, Smolnik will be overseeing human resource compliance, employee recruiting and training programs, compensation and performance review, as well as benefits management.

Prior to working for DSS, Smolnik served as the Human Resource Manager for VF Outlet, Inc., where she actively managed the strategic planning and development of human resource policies, programs, and practices. DSS will benefit from Smolnik’s background in business and financial operations as well as her excellent communication and interpersonal skills. She earned a Master of Business Administration degree and a Bachelor of Science degrees in Business Management and Human Resource Management from Alvernia College. In addition to her degrees, Smolnik is also a Certified Trainer through DDI World and is PHR-certified through Society for Human Resources Management.
