Date:1/27/2009

A premier medical and surgical equipment supplier, DRE adds affordable, professionally refurbished Hill-Rom hospital beds to its extensive product lineup.

(Vocus) January 27, 2009 -- DRE Medical Equipment — named by Business First of Louisville as a 2008 Company of the Year — now sells professionally refurbished Hill-Rom hospital beds. DRE’s extensive lineup of economically-priced hospital beds includes the Hill-Rom Century 835, the Hill-Rom 894 Century CC, the Hill-Rom Advance Series and many more.

Professionally refurbished Hill-Rom hospital beds from DRE are suited for a variety of healthcare practice areas, including hospitals, surgery centers and intensive care units. DRE’s lineup of reconditioned hospital beds will also be popular with simulation labs and teaching facilities, says John Miller, a national account executive at DRE.

“To get their students practice-ready, healthcare simulation labs need affordable equipment options, such as our lineup of professionally refurbished Hill-Rom hospital beds,” says Miller. “With our extensive lineup of professionally refurbished equipment, healthcare educators can inexpensively provide their students with hands-on training.”

DRE sells a wide variety of reconditioned Hill-Rom hospital beds perfect for budget conscious teaching facilities and simulation labs, including the Hill-Rom Centra Series 850/852 and the Hill-Rom Century Series 835/837. Both beds have sturdy, long-lasting frames, and are perfect for providing students with hands-on training.

DRE’s lineup of Hill-Rom hospital beds also includes the Centra Series 1060/1062, which features four motors and central braking and steering, and the Hill-Rom 894 Century CC hospital bed, which features electric controls and a radiolucent window.

The Hill-Rom TotalCare has advanced features that help reduce strain on nurses and physicians, and the Hill-Rom Advance Series hospital bed provides Trendelenburg positioning and has a high-low travel time of only 21 seconds.

Professionally refurbished Hill-Rom hospital beds from DRE are put through full function tests, and can be reconditioned as close as possible to the standards of the original equipment manufacturer. Optional features include nurse call controls, mounted radios/TVs, fully rebuilt side rails, new head and foot boards, and new motor couplings and capacitors.

In addition to refurbished Hill-Rom hospital beds, DRE sells a variety of new and refurbished medical and surgical equipment.
