Date:12/16/2013

(PRWEB) December 16, 2013

Recently Launched in Europe and Now Available in the USA

A revolutionary mobile fitness device offering a variety of workouts which combines the best of two worlds: cardio and strength training, as well as indoor and outdoor training.

DISQ can be used alone at home or whilst traveling, by following one of the many available workouts on line or through the DISQ APP, or used as part of a group fitness program under the guidance of a DISQ certified instructor.

Swings, bicep curls, goblet squats and more can be achieved with the bonus of added adjustable resistance.

DISQ and DISQ workouts can be found at http://www.thedisq.com

DISQ owes its name to the training system used during the workout consisting of two discs by means of an adjustable strap attached to the hips which allow for adjustable, constant, two way resistance.
DISQ takes basic functional movements and makes them more effective. Add DISQ’s adjustable, constant resistance to any basic workout or movement to maximize results.
It’s weight training without the gym, it’s exercising in complete freedom.

DISQ was invented by a Dutch, former national speed skater, Robbert Boekema, whose mother was an Olympiad in 1968. Coming from a family of speed skaters, Rob was trained in the art of working out and staying in shape. Whilst on a skiing vacation, the idea came to him for DISQ. A portable fitness device with constant, adjustable resistance that can be taken anywhere to perform a wide variety of exercises at any time.

Robbert Boekema, Founder of DISQ, has this to say, " DISQ is a high quality fitness product that makes sure you can exercise wherever you are without the need for an entire gym. It gives you complete freedom."

DISQ is more than a mobile training device; it’s also a training philosophy that turns many traditional fitness principles upside down. The DISQ system: the product combined with workout programs gets results the user can see and feel.

Workouts aren't one size fits all. The DISQ Condition workouts improve one's general fitness level, the Strength workouts make the user stronger and Power workouts help explode them to the next level.

Through the DISQ app and instant videos, there are programs that meet everyone's individual fitness needs.
