DGN Technologies has successfully implemented TransportConnect(TM) at Intuitive Surgical of Sunnyvale, CA.

FREMONT, Calif., April 14 /PRNewswire/ -- DGN Technologies, Inc. announced today that is has successfully implemented TransportConnect(TM) at Intuitive Surgical, located in Sunnyvale, California, USA. Intuitive Surgical is an FDA regulated company and selected TransportConnect(TM) to address the specific challenges posed by upgrading and adding support packs within their SAP landscape. TransportConnect(TM) provides the full visibility of changes, including the impact to the organization, entering the SAP landscape assuring continued compliance and system validation.

"We have successfully applied the support packs to our SAP ECC 5.0 system," said Jonathan Yanak, Director of IT for Corporate Applications. "By using TransportConnect(TM), we identified the potentially impacted areas and the details of the changes associated with them. This helped us in managing the amount of objects that we needed to review/update and reduced our testing effort dramatically. One of the biggest benefits was that it not only checked SAP standard objects but also the impact the support packs were going to have on our custom objects and the details of the impacts. This allowed us to spend more time on ensuring these objects were updated and less time on analyzing what we might need to do."
